To the average American a Swedish female singer is really no big deal. They have heard so many of these talented people in the past that it has become quite common. ABBA introduced every U. S. Citizen to two spectacular women who really know how to belt out a tune. The fantastic people within this group were Bjorn Kristian Ulvaeus, Frida Lyngstad, Benny Andersson and Agnetha Faltskog.
History will always remember these four people as great artists who were able to inspire the world musically. The blonde bombshell of this group was Agnetha Faltskog and she is one lady who knows how to get everyone's attention. She is a native of Sweden and was raised in a very middle class family with no real connections to wealth. Her father was a store manager and her mother was a housewife.
During her time as a child this talented lady learned how to play the piano and she was also a singer within her church choir. She took the time to create her very own musical group called "The Cambers" and they were a big hit with their fans. During this time they had two beautiful children together. Even though they decided to divorce in 1979 this duo still remained with the group ABBA until the end.
One fortunate redhead within this industry is the lovely Frida Lyngstad who was born in a Norwegian hospital in the mid 1940's. Frida grew up in Sweden and still considers herself to be a native of this land. She also is associated with Germany due to her father's bloodline. Synni Lyngstad was her mother who left this planet at the age of twenty-one when she died from an illness.
She is very much like her grandmother since they both enjoyed good music and could sing any tune. The older woman was Frida's mentor and legal guardian after her mother's untimely death. Frida would always tell everyone how great her grandmother was when she did chat shows on television. She found success at thirteen with a local orchestra and finally met her ABBA lover Benny Andersson some years later.
